* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Rita Langenkamp
Rita Carolyn Langenkamp, 76, 6963 S. 500 East, Portland, Ind., died at 11:15 p.m. March 6, 2009, at her home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Robert and Aldean Center Burnham. On Aug. 30, 1952, she married Robert Langenkamp, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Robert (Frances) Langenkamp Jr. and Roger (Debbie) Langenkamp, all of Portland, Ray (Jackie) Langenkamp, Fort Recovery, and Ryan Langenkamp, Salamonia; five daughters, Rhonda (Dave) Hoying, Rose Stephen and Rita (Don) Stephen, all of Portland, Renee (Jerry) Huber, Tipp City, and Roxann Abels, Montezuma; two sisters, Betty Kemper, Fort Wayne, and Sandy Burnham of California; 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter, Ruth.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Portland, and its Rosary Sodality. She also was a member of Portland Moose Lodge and Fort Recovery Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, the Rev. Robert Moran officiating. Burial is at Salamonia Cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. today and 9-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society or the State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice.
