Karen Yearsley

Karen S. Yearsley, 63, of Greenville, died at 3:36 p.m. Jan. 10, 2009, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville. Death was due to natural causes.

She was born July 16, 1945, in Darke County, to Richard E. and Margaret "Kate" Heiser Stump. Her father and mother, Margaret Stump-Sargent, are deceased. Her husband, Walter N. Yearsley, also is deceased.

Surviving are two brothers, Elven L. (Connie) Stump, Celina, and Larry (Linda) Stump, Anna; a sister, JoAnne (Leslie) Russell, Greenville; and a companion, Ronald Helsel, Greenville.

Deceased is a sister, Shirley Stump.

She had worked as a certified nursing assistant for several area nursing homes and individuals. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, both of Greenville.

Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Terry Haworth officiating. Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Dayton National Cemetery.

Calling is after noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
