Evan Burgei's one-yard run for a touchdown with 9:47 left in the third quarter allowed St. John's to come back from a 19-7 deficit to beat St. Henry 21-19 at Stadium Park in Delphos on Friday night.

MARIA STEIN - Senior Night couldn't have gone much better for the Marion Local Flyers, who kept themselves in the thick of the playoff race with a resounding 55-7 win over the visiting Fort Recovery Indians.

NEW BREMEN - After back-to-back lop-sided losses, New Bremen pulled out of the Midwest Athletic Conference cellar with a victory on Friday night.
The Cardinals' defense forced four turnovers, including the first three interceptions of the season, and New Bremen turned three of those Parkway miscues into touchdowns on the way to a 28-6 victory at Cardinal Stadium. [More]

Celina city officials believe they have found various leaks in Bryson Pool responsible for the loss of thousands of gallons of water during the summer.
Independent Rick Muhlenkamp of Celina is challenging incumbent Republican John E. Bruns of Maria Stein for the unexpired term of county commissioner.
The term runs from Jan. 1, 2009, through Dec. 31, 2010.
Current Republican Commissioner Bob Nuding is being challenged for his seat by Democrat Kip Wright.
