* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

James Waterman
James O. Waterman, 83, Wapakoneta, died at 1:01 p.m. July 11, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Nov. 9, 1924, in New Bremen to Arnold "Pete" and Clara Fischbach Waterman. On June 7, 1947, he married Audrey C. Botkins, who died April 20, 2003.
Survivors are three sons, Mike (Joan), Bob (Susan) and Scott, all of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Devra (Jim "Bubba") Brannon, Wapakoneta, and Susy (Scott) Price, Columbus; a brother, Dave (Jean), New Bremen; two sisters, Doris Howe, Minster, and Betty McGowan, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters-in-law, Charlene, Wapakoneta, and Alice, New Bremen; and 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Tom and Don.
He was retired from Ametek Westchester Plastics as a senior sales representative. He also had worked at Koneta Rubber Co., Wapakoneta, and the Wapakoneta Police Department. He was a World War II veteran with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Amvets, all of Wapakoneta.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, where military rites will be conducted at 8 p.m.
Burial is at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
