Celina quilt shop heads up project to make pillow cases for children with cancer
The large wicker basket on the counter at the Quilterie Quilt Shop in downtown Celina is filled to the brim with brightly colored pillowcases.
Cute
After three years of waiting, Celina will finally receive the money from a federal grant to help pay for its water treatment facility, now under construction on the old Blue Goose site.
Geothermal heating great idea, but too expensive, most board members say
ST. MARYS - Geothermal energy is the top-shelf way to go in new grade 6-12 school building, board of education members agreed last week. But at more than $1.2 million in additional money, it's probably not going to happen. The hands-on money just is not available.
Celina city officials will begin gathering information to create a written outline of the city's sanitary sewer system, its activities, deficiencies, needed improvements and daily maintenance in March for an EPA required manual.
COLUMBUS - The solid start on Thursday for the Coldwater wrestling team continued on Friday with pain.
The day ended, however, with some joy.
