David Hardin
David "Howard" Hardin, 40, 1145 Indiana Ave., St. Marys, died June 29, 2007, at his residence. The cause of death remains under investigation.
He was born Oct. 31, 1966, in St. Marys, to Freddie and Lana Carpenter Hardin. His mother survives in St. Marys.
Also surviving are three sons, David, Samuel and Luke, all of St. Marys; a brother, Freddie Jr. (Sheila), Wapakoneta; three sisters, Fondalee (Steven) Felver, Celina, Shelly (Bryan) Wheeler, St. Marys, and Jenni (Don) Johnson, Louisville, Ky.; and a paternal grandmother, Mary Hardin, New Bremen.
Deceased are a daughter, Samantha; maternal grandparents, Howard and Rachel Carpenter; and paternal grandfather, Adrian Hardin.
He was a materials handler at Lear Corporation, Sidney, and a 1985 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 767 and First Church of the Nazarene, both of St. Marys, and the Harley Davidson Club.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
