A group of kindergarten students from St. Marys tries on arm casts of various colors as they visit the Make Believe Hospital down a corridor inside Joint Township District Memorial Hospital on Friday. The Make Believe Hospital began 21 years ago at the hospital to alleviate some of the fears and negative feelings that children sometimes associate with medical facilities. Students from various schools across the Grand Lake will attend the program this week to learn what to expect during a hospital stay. The children visit eight different stations to receive an overall view of the hospital experience.
