Evelyn Snyder
Evelyn Snyder, 91, formerly of New Knoxville, died at 9:45 p.m. Dec. 23, 2006, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, where she was a resident.
She was born March 10, 1916, in New Knoxville, to Albert and Sarah Maneke Rodeheffer. She married Theodore Snyder, who died June 12, 1990.
Survivors are two sons, Larry (Nancy), Rochester, Minn., and Bob (Pat), New Knoxville; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Raymond and Carl Rodeheffer; a sister-in-law, Madeline Rodeheffer; and a granddaughter.
  She retired from Hoge Brush Company, New Knoxville, and was a graduate of New Knoxville High School. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Calling is after noon Thursday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church organ fund.
Arrangements are by Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville.
