* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Norman Kuhlman

Norman Kuhlman, 93, 1125 Neil Ave., St. Marys, died at 9:10 a.m. Oct. 24, 2006, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Living Community.

He was born Aug. 17, 1913, in New Knoxville, to Herman and Emma Fenneman Kuhlman. On Nov. 16, 1940, he married Gladys Schwieterman, who survives at Otterbein St. Marys.

Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased are numerous brothers and sisters.

He was the retired president of the former Home Banking Company, St. Marys, past president of the First National Bank in Mercer County and had served as a State of Ohio bank auditor. He was a 1931 graduate of New Knoxville High School and attended Ohio State University.

He was a member of Idlewild Club, St. Marys; Mercer Lodge and Valley of Dayton Shrine Club; St. Marys Rotary Club; Northmoor Country Club; Shawnee County Club; and First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville. He was a charter member of the St. Marys Community Foundation and Community Improvement Corporation.

Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
