* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Barbara Fischer

Barbara Carey Fischer, 76, 3601 state Route 703, Lot 2, Celina, died at 12:50 p.m. Oct. 15, 2006, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 19, 1930, in Celina, to Lamoil and Blanch Lehman Jenkins. On June 3, 1967, she married James Fischer, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Rick (Diane) Carey, Dale City, Va., and Tim (Linda) Carey, Celina; three daughters, Vickie (Mike) Philips, Greenville; Tina (Ronald) Smith, Celina, and Julie (James) McDonald, Westland, Mich.; two brothers, Calvin and John Jenkins, both of Celina; a sister, Linda Jenkins, Celina; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers, James and Cleve Jenkins.

She retired from the Huffy Bicycle Corporation, Celina, and was a 1948 graduate of Celina High School.

Services are 3 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial is at Live Oak Cemetery, Wabash.

Calling is after 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
