* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Helen Pruden, Rockford, fills jugs with freshly pressed apple cider Sunday afternoon at Niekamp's Farm and Flea Market, U.S. 127. The 11 foot four inch press has been in Helen's family since 1926 and is over 100 years old. The press can hold up to 50 bushels and will yield 135 gallons of cider.
