CHANGES TO FEES FOR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Uniform Schedule of Fees for the Mercer County Health District has been modified by the Board of Health. A series of hearings were held at regularly scheduled meetings from February 2025 - April 2025. The Mercer County Health District has modified fees in the following programs: Health Services - School Contracts.
Any previous fees in conflict with the proposed are to be repealed. The modifications of the Uniform Schedule of Fees is pursuant to Sections 705.15, 3709.09, and 3709.21 of the Ohio Revised Code.
The Health Services fee schedule is a local fee schedule which isnot affected by state fees. The adoption of the modified fees was completed April 9, 2025, by the Mercer County Board of Health. The fees will take effect April 25, 2025.

Programmatic Agreement Under the National Historic Preservation Act in accordance with 36 CFR 800.14 (b)(ii), The County of Mercer provides public notice and welcomes public comment on a programmatic agreement (PA) developed to govern compliance with the National Historic Preservation Action for implementation of the following: Administration of home rehabilitation financing programs, which includes funds appropriated through the United States Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD), the State of Ohio Community Housing Programs, and/or other related federal legislation as amended from time to time, such as the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The programmatic agreement is available for review at the address below. The registration deadline for the May 6, 2025, Special Election is April 7. As required by law, those who plan to exercise their right to vote in the May 6, 2025, Special Election, must be registered to vote at least 30 days before the election. Registration forms can be obtained at the Board of Elections and are also available at the authorized agencies listed below during their regular business hours.

Qualifications to Vote in the Election
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be 18 years of age on or before May 6, 2025.

• Must be registered to vote at least 30 days prior to the election.
• Must not have been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a Probate Court.
• Must not be currently incarcerated for a felony conviction.

Absentee Ballots by Mail
Applications to get your Absentee Ballot by mail need to be addressed to the Board of Elections, must be in writing, and must be received no later than 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Applications will be mailed to those who request one by calling our office. A separate application is necessary for each election. Mailing of Absentee Ballots will begin on April 8, 2025.
Voters must bring photo identification to the polls to verify their identity. Voters who do not provide photo identification will still be able to vote by casting a provisional ballot.
Photo identification includes the following documents that include the individual's name and photograph and is not expired: an Ohio driver's license, state ID card, or interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV; a US passport or passport card; or a US military ID card, Ohio National Guard ID card, or US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card.

Found property includes but is not limited to: clothing, electronics, keys, purses and wallets.
