Sealed proposals will be received by Fort Loramie Local School District Board of Education at, Fort Loramie High School Office, Door 1, Media Room 310, located at 600 East Park Street , Fort Loramie , Ohio 45845, until January 15, 2025 at 1:00 P.M., at which time and place proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. A Lump Sum bid for the project will be received.
A prebid meeting will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Fort Loramie High School Office, Door 1, Media Room 310, located at 600 East Park Street, Fort Loramie, Ohio, 45845. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory but bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. The facility will be open for inspection at this time.
A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid.

Each bid must be submitted in duplicate on a blank form furnished by the Architect, in a sealed envelope. Mark plainly on the outside of the envelope, the project you are bidding on. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Village of Osgood will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Osgood, North Street Reconstruction project.
Bids will be received at the office of the Village of Osgood, P.O. Box 177, Osgood, OH 45351, until 1:00 P.M., December 23, 2025, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after 1:00 P.M. will be returned unopened.
Bids will be received on a unit price basis as outlined in the bid documents:
The construction of curbing, sidewalks, paving, and storm sewer line for approximately 1,300 lineal feet of reconstruction of North Street.
Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, sealed in the provided envelope, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Exexutive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Darke County and the Village of Osgood as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644‑2239.
