Steven P. Borges age 77, of Minster, Ohio died on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Vancrest of St. Marys, Ohio.

He was born on April 3, 1949 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Leo B. & Jeanette (Koverman) Borges. He married Mary Brackman on September 8, 1973 and she preceded him in death on March 15, 1997. He then married Judy Topp on June 7, 2002 in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio. She survives in Minster.

He is also survived by children: Tony & Kim Borges, St. Henry, Don Borges, Minster, Ron & Heather Borges, Sidney, Jodi Borges, Minster, grandchildren: Jordan Thomas and Peyton & Allison Thomas, stepchildren: Stacy & Dale Storer, St. Marys, Chris & Gena Thobe, South Carolina, sister Diana & John Bender, Ann Meyer & friend Maurice Timmerman, in-laws: Charles & Mary Ann Brackman, Carl Stachler, Rita Wakefield, Luke & Luella Brackman, Paul Brackman, Eugene & Joyce Brackman, Doris & Keith Good, Albert & Linda Brackman, Karen Lewis, Dale Topp and Jerry Topp.

He was preceded in death by daughter-in-law: Karla Borges, sister Kathy Borges, brother Tim Borges in-laws: Virginia & Lester Meyer, Rosemary Stachler, Mark Brackman, Karen Topp.

Steve was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster and was an assembler at STAMCO, Sidney, Ohio. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed old cars and following high school sports.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Monday, October 12, 2026 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio.
