COLDWATER - After battling through a loaded schedule that saw the team travel for their previous three matches, it would be understandable that Coldwater might have felt fatigued against New Bremen.
But you can't lead the Midwest Athletic Conference without winning the tough ones. While the visiting Cardinals took the first set, Coldwater rallied to take a 21-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-15 win at The Palace in a top of the MAC contest. [More]

CELINA - The Mercer County Commissioners gave their blessing Thursday to the annexation of 26.257 acres of land in Granville Township to the Village of St. Henry.
A 39-year-old Rockford man driving a concrete mixer was involved in a two-vehicle accident in which a Kettlersville woman died on State Route 29 in Shelby County Thursday morning, a news release from the Piqua Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol states.
REYNOLDSBURG - The Ohio Department of Agriculture reported Wednesday it has completed a grain audit of United Equity Inc., the grain elevator and storage business whose operations were suspended Sept. 10. ODA found the facility to be in failure, as defined in Ohio's grain law.
