Floyd L. Sharp, 82, of St. Marys, OH passed away Friday September 4, 2026 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1944 in Sidney, OH to Everett and Betty (Brewer) Sharp.

Survivors include: daughter Michelle Sharp of St. Marys, OH; son Cody (Kara) Sharp of St. Marys, OH; 4 grandchildren: Braeden (Karson Mahaney) Tuttle, Tyler (Casey) Sharp, Katelyn (Tyler) Ackerman, Jacob Sharp; 4 great-grandchildren: Caden Sharp, Carter Sharp, James Ackerman, Eleanor Ackerman; brother Harry Sharp of Jackson Center, OH; significant other Betty Kohli and her children: Willard "Topper" Lhamon, Carolee Lhamon, David Lhamon, Kellye Lhamon-Janis.

Preceded in death by:
parents Everett and Betty Sharp; brother Don Sharp, sister Linda Taylor, sister Mary Ann Swindle, brother Dick Sharp, brother Tom Sharp

He was a graduate of Sidney, OH High School (Class of 1962).

He retired from the Minster Machine Co., where he worked as a supervisor for many years.

His favorite pastimes included: golfing, fishing, working on classic automobiles and visiting casinos. Floyd will be remembered as the quintessential napper.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 5:30 p.m.
