Beverly Zizelman
Beverly M. Zizelman, 83, of Enon, Ohio, formerly of Celina, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026, at her residence, after an extended illness. Beverly was born March 26, 1943, in Lima, to James L. & Maxine F. (McClain) Cady. Both of her parents preceded her in death. Beverly was first married to Gary E. John, who passed away in 1969. On August 19, 1970, she married Max D. Zizelman. Max passed away in 2013.
Beverly is survived by her children: Douglas R. (Star) Zizelman of Celina; Vickie S. (James Christian) Salmons, Connie F. Daisy, and William D. (Linda) Zizelman of Wapakoneta; Steven L. Zizelman of Celina; and Maxine L. Shady of Blanchard, Pennsylvania; over 70 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and brothers: James (Leslie) Cady of Toledo and David (Pat) Cady of Lima.
Beverly attended Lima City Schools. She was a welder at Huffy Bicycles in Celina, until the plant closed, and a Sales Associate at the Ben Franklin Store in Coldwater, until she retired. Beverly loved crafting when crafting wasn't cool and she was an avid shopper.
In her younger years, she loved riding motorcycle with Max and enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains, out West, and wherever her family lived. Ultimately, her many grandchildren were the center of her life and her greatest joy.
Beverly was preceded in death by her sisters and brother: Barb Binkley, Betty Bressler and Charles Cady; granddaughters: Love Zizelman and Brandy Flowers; and great-grandson Easton Shady.
Visitation will take place at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, 218 West Market Street in Celina, on Saturday, August 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 1:00. Chaplain James Cady, Beverly's brother, will be officiating.
Contributions in lieu of flowers are to be directed in Beverly's memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
