Ella Broering removes her rabbit from its pen. The 2026 Mercer County Fair will feature 103 rabbit exhibitors showcasing 240 breeding rabbits and 67 market pen rabbits.

Exhibitors planning to take part in the rabbit program at the 2026 Mercer County Fair brought their rabbits to the Mercer County Fairgrounds on Tuesday evening for a health inspection. The fair runs Aug. 13-19. The rabbits were also each given a tattoo in one of their ears. The tattoo consists of an identifying number and is a standard fair practice.
