Julia A. Huff, 84, of St. Marys, OH died 4:15 a.m. Thursday July 2, 2026 at Otterbein - St. Marys.

She was born August 2, 1942 in St. Marys, OH to Clifford and Stella (Gallimore) Knous. On June 5, 1959 in St. Marys, she married Harold D. "Pete" Huff, who died February 26, 2010.

Survivors include: daughter Patsy (Mark) Sprunger of Berne, IN; grandson Caleb (Kyleigh) of Ft. Wayne, IN; 2 great-grandchildren Eden and Ezra Sprunger; sister Inez Jacobs of St. Marys, OH; brother Paul (Pat) Knous of St. Marys, OH; brother Charlie (Carol) Knous of St. Marys, OH; and  numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents Clifford and Stella Knous; husband Harold "Pete" Huff; daughter Angela Huff (05/09/2026); brother Donald Knous; brother Allen "Bud" Knous; brother Wesley Knous; sister E. Louise Long; brother Simon Knous; sister Evelyn Sorenson; sister Joice Lipik-Scherer; brother Lloyd Knous; and brother James Knous.

She worked in the housekeeping department of JTDM Hospital for a number of years. Julia was an active member of the former Pilgrim Holiness Church and former First Wesleyan Church, both in St. Marys. She was very involved in church-related activities, frequently acting as pianist. An avid sports fan, she particularly enjoyed rooting for the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State University. More than anything else, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday July 10, 2026 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Private burial will take place at the Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton, OH.

Visitation 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
