Celebrating the semi-quilt-centennial
Photo by William Kincaid/The Daily Standard

The Cozy Cabin Quilters of St. Marys and Bound By Grace Quilters of Spencerville joined forces to create patriotic quilts and other items in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Members had complete creative freedom and employed a variety of styles, patterns, colors and techniques in fashioning unique quilts. They each worked nearly a year on their quilts, according to Cozy Cabin Quilters co-founder Rebecca Barber. The quilt exhibit is on display at the St. Marys Community Public Library through the month of July.
