* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Jerome Walter
Jerome "Jerry" Walter, 90, of Saint Marys, died 5:47 A.M. Monday, June 22, 2026, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. He was born February 19, 1936, in Saint Marys, the son of Joe and Mary (Naseman) Walter. He married Glenda Foor on January 8, 1955, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, and she survives in Saint Marys.
He is also survived by his three sons: Michael (Jill) Walter of Fort Recovery, Ohio; John (Michele) Walter of Kettering, Ohio; Steve Walter of Saint Marys. He is survived by his grandchildren: Don Walter; Tiffany Wooten; Joe Walter, Rob Walter and Lisa Pierson; by his great-grandchildren: Andrew, Charlie, Griffin, Ryder, James, Adam, Amber, Elliot and Owen.
He is survived by his brother, Tom (Mary Jo) Walter of Saint Marys.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Don (Barb) Walter.
Jerry was a 1954 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and also built numerous homes in the area. He and Glenda moved to Las Vegas for 18 years, where he was the Security Supervisor at Sunset Station Casino.
He enjoyed bowling over the years, and playing cards with his family and friends. He was an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and served as President of The Friends of Holy Rosary. He helped organize the very first Holy Rosary Parish Festival and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 29, 2026, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Father Rob Muhlenkamp, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-5 P.M. Sunday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, and from 9:30-10:30 A.M. on on Monday morning at the funeral home.
