* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Derl Burger
Derl Burger, age 92, of St. Marys, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026.
He was born on March 13, 1934, in Mercer County, Ohio, to the late Waldo and Neola (Clay) Burger. Derl was a graduate of Mendon High School.
He retired from New Idea in Coldwater, Ohio. After retirement, Derl continued doing what he loved by working alongside Jennifer Garrett at Simply Good Things in St. Marys, where he spent many years repairing and refurbishing furniture.
On July 13, 1959, Derl married the love of his life, Alice Jannette Burger, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Arlene Salzmann of Celina, Edwin (Connie) Hoenie, St. Marys, Eric (Carol) Burger of Mendon, Angie Dalton of North Carolina, Diane (Steve) Alvarado of Celina, and Denise (Larry) Westgerdes of Celina; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish the memories they shared with him. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Burger; and a son, Gary Hoenie.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys, with Pastor Matt Overman officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the services from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Private graveside services will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grand Lake United Methodist Church.
