The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Lucille Stahl
Lucille Stahl, age 94, of St. Henry, died on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Trustwell Living in Celina.
She was born June 12, 1931, in Wendelin, Ohio, to the late Frank & Mary (Brunswick) Post. On May 9, 1953, she married Richard T. "Bud" Stahl. Lucy & Bud were married for 55 years, until his passing on May 28, 2008.
Lucy is survived by nine children and their spouses: Pam & Neil Buschur of Celina, Rick & Karen Stahl of St. Henry, Mary & Pat Niekamp of Ft. Recovery, Pat & Marie Stahl of St. Henry, Lisa & Reed Mikesell of St. Henry, Chuck & Nancy Stahl of Loveland, Jerry & Lisa Stahl of St. Henry, Beth & Eric Thomas of Coldwater, and Sharon & Craig Turner of Lewisburg. Also surviving Lucy is her large extended family of 30 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren with three on the way, a brother-in-law, Louis Stahl of St. Henry, and a great many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband Bud, Lucy is preceded in death by a son, Randy; as well as siblings and in-laws: Bernadine & Louis Fullenkamp, Marie & Leonard Koesters and Paul Ranly, Ralph & Rose Ann Post, Walter & Patricia Post, Margaret & George Kinder, Ed & Phyllis Post and Cyril Evers, Donna & Vernon Huber, Dorothy & Thomas Keller, and infant siblings Charles Post and Carol Post, her father and mother-in-law Edward and Anna Stahl, and Stahl in-laws: Clarence & Sally Stahl, Herbert & Agnes Stahl, Helen Stahl, Rita & Bim Borgert, Doc & Margaret Stahl, Don & Esther Stahl, Esther & Bud Davis, and Julia Stahl.
Lucy was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and had worked in the past for the church office typing the weekly bulletin. She worked at Loretta Romer's Drug Store and was a devoted mother. Lucy attended many sporting events and games for her children and grandchildren, and even great grandchildren. Lucy enjoyed knitting afghans for her children and grandchildren. She looked forward to Sunday evenings where family gathered and enjoyed homemade ice cream and chocolate syrup.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 22, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Following the funeral mass burial will take place in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 2-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, and from 9-10 a.m. on Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Those wishing to honor Lucy's memory may consider doing so by making a memorial contribution to EverHeart Hospice.
