Parts of Main Street in downtown Coldwater are getting a facelift this month as Tom's Construction Inc. continues work on the Second Street Reconstruction project. The contracted work calls for a full-depth street repair on South Second Street from Walnut Street to Sycamore Street, but includes a few blocks of curb and sidewalk repair on Main near the Second Street intersection. Village manager Jason Eyink said aging curb and gutter structures are being rebuilt, along with a section of brick sidewalk that was in disrepair. All of Second Street in Coldwater will eventually be repaved, with the work scheduled to be complete by June 1.
