Jeffrey Hasenjager
Jeffrey E. Hasenjager, age 71, of Celina, passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
He was born June 8, 1954, in Celina, a son of the late Carl and Willidean (Riesen) Hasenjager.
Jeff and Susan Anselman were married on September 19, 1998, and she survives, along with their children: Emma Hasenjager, Elizabeth (Brian) Case, James (Brandi) Wagner and Abbey (Louis) Bell, grandchildren: Dethora Munson, Vayda Clark, Demetra Hasenjager, Aydin Wagner, Sylvia Clark, Deidra Hasenjager, Lillian Case and Brooks Wagner, and great grandchildren: Clint Munson, Persephone Hasenjager-Rapp and Helena Hasenjager-Rapp.
Jeff's surviving brothers and sisters are: Donna Kaup, Mike (Colene) Hasenjager, Becky George, Dave (Cheryl) Hasenjager and Barb (Kevin) Miller.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Teri Hasenjager and brother-in-law: Dale Kaup.
A 1972 graduate of Coldwater High School, Jeff worked at Huffy Manufacturing for 25 years, until the plant's closing. He then worked at B.F. Goodrich in Fort Wayne. Jeff had a gift for craftsmanship, and completed many home improvement projects over the years. He truly was a "jack of all trades." He was a big fan of 60's rock and roll, with The Rolling Stones being his favorite, and was also a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and cooking for them in the kitchen. He took pride in caring for his property, mowing the yard and tending to his small garden. When he had free time, Jeff enjoyed relaxing with a fishing pole in hand.
Calling Hours will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 8th, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Services to follow at 3:00 PM. Pastor Bob Sweeney will officiate.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
