* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Ross, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected to move through the region Saturday into Saturday night. Additional heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding.

Timothy Poeppelman
Timothy Michael Poeppelman, age 55, of Dogwood Drive, Fort Loramie, passed away of natural causes Monday afternoon, March 2, 2026, at the Lima Memorial Health System, in Lima, Ohio.
He was born March 5, 1970, in St. Marys, Ohio, to Richard J. Poeppelman of Fort Loramie and the late Rebecca A. (Kohne) Poeppelman. Surviving are two siblings, Charles & Scarlett Poeppelman of Piqua and Sue Gent of Fort Loramie; niece and nephew, Krista and Andrew; great niece and great nephew, Karter and Kingston as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Andrew & Germaine (Thaman) Poeppelman and August & Rosina (Meinerding) Kohne.
Mr. Poeppelman was a 1988 graduate of Fort Loramie High School and the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School in Piqua. He worked for Univar Solutions at the Honda of America Plant in Anna and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Fort Loramie. For the most part Tim just enjoyed working and spending holidays with his family.
Memorial Services will be 2:30 PM, Friday, March 6, 2026, at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie with Deacon Paul Timmerman presiding. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.
Family and friends may call Friday, 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Gehret Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Fort Loramie Rescue Squad or the Lake Loramie Improvement Association.
