M. Jacob Miller, 31, of St. Marys, OH died 11:45 p.m. Friday January 30, 2026 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH.

He was born July 27, 1994 in Van Wert, OH to Marc S. and Rebecca A. (Money) Miller. On June 29, 2019 in St. Marys, OH he married Rose Shamilys Pizarro Ruiz, who survives.

Also survived by parents: Marc and Rebecca Miller of St. Marys, OH; sister: Elizabeth Miller of Eugene, OR; grandparents: Doug (Janet) Miller of Van Wert, OH; Edgar Money of Frakes, KY; aunts, uncles and numerous cousins; parents-in-law: Yamil Pizarro Lopez and Rosa Lydia Ruiz Lopez of Puerto Rico; and brother-in-law: Yzzis Shamil Pizarro Ruiz of Lebanon, PA.

Preceded in death by maternal grandmother Karen Money.

He worked as a Zone Leader / Setup of Turning Dept. and was a CERT team member for many years at CROWN Equipment Corp. in New Bremen, OH (Plant # 3). He was a member of Samaria Missionary Baptist Church in St. Marys, OH.

His favorite pastimes were playing video games like Baldurs Gate 3 and Ashes of Creation and watching movies like The Lord of The Rings and The Princess Bride. A huge fan of professional soccer, he rooted for UK Arsenal and Columbus Crew. Jacob was also a huge fan of The Cleveland Browns.

He will be fondly remembered for his warm and friendly personality, his kindness and big heart. Throughout his long and difficult medical journey, he personified the virtue of patience and strength. Jacob was always seen with a smile on his face.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm on Friday February 6, 2026 at Samaria Missionary Baptist Church 14480 Lambert Road in St. Marys. Pastor Jordan Martin will officiate the services.

Visitation 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm on Friday at the church.
