Ronda Koontz
Ronda Kay Koontz, age 84, of Mendon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Gardens of Celina.
She was born on December 18, 1941, in Adrian, Michigan, to the late Dr. Herald and Ronda G. (Collins) Miller.
Survivors include her children, Rae (Kirk) Wilmarth of Wapakoneta, Ty (Joanie) Koontz of Celina, Renee (David Carlock) Schulte of Wapakoneta, Tony (Dawn) Koontz of Riverview, Florida, and Miranda Sherman of Maryland; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Karen Miller of Celina; and the father of her children, Charlie Koontz, of Rockford.
She was preceded in death by her life partner of 45 years, Ron Sherman; and her brothers, Dr. Tom (Nancy) Miller and Wick Miller.
Ronda was a 1958 graduate of Celina High School. She was employed for 20 years as a bus aide with VentureLINX Career Academy, formerly CA Group. Ronda enjoyed living a simple life, preferred to keep to herself, and had a deep love for animals.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Private graveside services will be held at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to Celina Cares, LLC.
