Charles Dues
Charles Dues, age 85, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 in Coldwater.
He was born on July 28, 1940 in Philothea to the late Clarence & Hilda (Cron) Dues. He is survived by siblings and in-laws, Patty Barhorst of Ft. Loramie, Mary & Don Eyink of Maria Stein, Ginny Dues of Coldwater, and Jack Goettemoeller of Colorado, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded by siblings and in-law, Alvin Dues, Betty Goettemoeller, Margie & Dan Knapke and Sam Barhorst.
Charles was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater and Knights of Columbus. He retired as an accountant at Mersman Tables, self-employed at Bock Office Supply for over 40 years, and served as the Fiscal Officer of Butler Township for over 35 years. Charlie enjoyed spending time and making memories with his siblings, nieces, and nephews. He was the fun-loving uncle who was always there for his nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday, January 30, from 3 PM until 7 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM to 9:30 AM.
