Construction of the new Marion Local Middle School, located between the two existing school buildings, has progressed. According to superintendent Mike Pohlman insulation panels on the exterior have been installed in preparation for the block and siding to be put in place. The interior has also begun taking shape with the installation of masonry block. The new building is expected to be ready for the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
