Kenneth Chivington
Kenneth B. Chivington, 73, of St. Marys OH died 3:31 p.m. Tuesday December 9, 2025 at his residence.
He was born July 30, 1952 in Celina, OH to Boyd M. and Audrey B. (Smith) Chivington. Survivors include brother Bryce (Carol) Chivington of St. Marys, OH; brother Byron (Pamela) Chivington of St. Marys, OH; sister Sharon Zizelman of Coldwater, OH; sister Melissa (William) Canfield of Oklahoma City, OK; brother-in-law John McGaughley of Junction City, OH.
numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents Boyd and Audrey Chivington; brother Richard (Lynda) Chivington; sister Judith McGaughley; sister Corla (Robert) Hoelscher; infant brother Roger Chivington; infant sister Annette Chivington; infant sister Deborah Chivington; and brother-in-law Louis Zizelma.
Mr. Chivington was employed as a contract custodian for the Ohio Department of Transportation.In addition, he worked at Pizza Hut in St. Marys for a number of years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in St. Marys.His favorite pastimes included working on jigsaw puzzles and watching and feeding the area squirrels.
Rites are scheduled to be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday December 17, 2025 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys, with Pastor Keith Stuck, officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton, OH.
Visitation 5- 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home on High Street.
Kennth's family would like to express their appreciation to the Benchmark Human Services (Residential Division) for the wonderful care received and, especially, to long-time care provider Janelle Gross.
