Jensen Denney
Jensen E. Denney, age 16, of Mendon, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mendon on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
He was born on March 24, 2009, in Van Wert, Ohio, the beloved son of Matthew "Matt" and Amy (Kable) Denney, who survive in Mendon.
In addition to his parents, Jensen is survived by his twin sister, Bethany Denney of Mendon; two brothers, Winston (Arianna) Denney of Traverse City, Michigan, and Marshall Denney of Mendon; and his beloved niece, Marlo Denney. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Brian (Julie) Kable of Celina, Tracy Baldauf of Huntington, Indiana, and Wade Diehl of Celina. Extended family members include Lee (Chris) Berry and Jordan Berry, all of Mendon, and Nique (Nathan) Hinkle of Continental.
A sophomore at Parkway High School, Jensen was a vibrant and kind-hearted young man. He was very active in Boy Scouts and was close to earning his Eagle Scout rank - a goal he was deeply proud of. He loved camping, fishing, NASCAR, playing music on his guitar, and working on cars. Jensen had a giving spirit, always eager to help others, and was known for his warm heart, quick smile, and dedication to family.
He was a loyal son, a caring brother and uncle, and a true friend to many. Jensen had dreams of joining the military and had already begun working toward that path. He loved animals and was a devoted pet owner. Family was at the center of his life, and he never hesitated to put others first.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Jason Boroff officiating. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
