* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Denis Kuhn
Denis R. Kuhn, 79, passed into eternity with his wife by his side on Sunday, October 19, 2025, after years of failing health.
He was born on November 24, 1945, in Van Wert, Ohio to Herman and Helen (Nosek) Kuhn and has resided in Alexandria since 1995.
He graduated from Parkway High School. He also attended Ohio State University and Kent State University. Denis enlisted in the United State Marine Corps in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1968 with the rank of Corporal. He served during the Vietnam War as a Forward Observer. For most of his professional career, Denis was a mortgage banker. However, his true passion was racing Standardbred horses.
He was a member of Alexandria St. Mary Catholic Church, the American Legion, the Alexandria Elks and the Alexandria Eagles. Denis was a great storyteller and loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He had a gruff exterior but was a loving and generous soul. He will be sadly missed but warmly remembered by family and friends.
Survivors are his wife, Patty (Burke) Kuhn, married 29 years; granddaughters Sarah Proctor, Ellery Lockwood, Caroline Lockwood and Aubrey Proctor; step-children Kristina Proctor and Brad Lockwood; sister Diane (Terry) Reard; brother Ron Kuhn, nieces Kellie Lamonaca and Stacie Johnson; nephews-Ed Kuhn and Aaron Kuhn; and special friend and caregiver Jennifer Tackett, who provided love and support during Denis's final year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-David Kuhn, sister-in-law-Cheryl Clark.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 820 West Madison Street, Alexandria with Father Tom Metzger as Celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.
The Kuhn family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4 pm to 7 pm in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria, IN 46001.
