David Secrest
David Secrest, age 68, of Fairborn, Ohio, died on October 4, 2025.
David was born in Celina, Ohio on February 7th, 1957, to Lloyd and Luella (Scheblo) Secrest.
A graduate of Parkway High school, he was employed at Huffy Bicycle factory for 20+ years. He was a man of few words but enjoyed following his favorite sports teams (the Browns and the Cubs), watching movies, and collecting old farm toys. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Luella Secrest, his sister, Charlene Flores and his brother, Dale Secrest and is survived by his two sons Brad (Jessica) Secrest of Fairborn, Ohio and Chad (Jennifer) Secrest of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kyla Secrest, Garison Secrest, and Oliver Secrest and five sisters Connie Gates, Carol Zizelman, Shirley Brandon, Lois Secrest and Louise Toler.
To honor David's wishes, there will be no memorial services.
For those wishing to honor his memory, donations in his name may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
