* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Roger Settlage
Roger Settlage, 95, of New Knoxville, Ohio, died 6:29 A.M. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in the Emergency Department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 23, 1929, in New Knoxville, the son of Theodore and Selma (Wiethoff) Settlage. He married Ruby Howell on June 19, 1949, in Saint Marys, and she survives at Otterbein Saint Marys Retirement Community.
He is also survived by his two sons: Ted (Mary) Settlage of Wapakoneta; Tim (Terry) Settlage of New Knoxville; by his grandchildren: Chad (Amy) Settlage of Franklin, Ohio; Ross Settlage of Hilliard, Ohio; Heather Roznowski of Lima; Justin Settlage of Wapakoneta. He is also survived by his 8 great-grandchildren: Alyson, Olivia, Ozzy, Lanei, Kemper, Madyson, Tevin and Taylor; by his 3 great-grandchildren: Bowie, Reier and Sophia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his siblings: Emil Settlage; Richard Settlage; Ben Settlage; Andrew Settlage; Fred Settlage; Martha Geiser.
Roger was a 1947 graduate of New Knoxville High School, where he was a member of the basketball team that finished second in class B state tournament, losing 43-34 against Columbiana in a game held at the Fairgrounds Coliseum in Columbus.
Roger was confirmed at the First Church of New Knoxville in 1943. He was a lifelong member of the church, and served as a Deacon, Elder and choir member. He retired after 27 years of service at Copeland Corporation in Sidney and had worked at Harlament Egg Plant for 12 years. He later mowed lawns in the area.
He was a lifelong member of the New Knoxville Historical Society. He and Ruby wintered in Florida for 17 years. He enjoyed playing horseshoes at Armstrong Park in Saint Marys, and also in Florida. He and Ruby were members of the Tri-Squares Squares Dancing Club for 26 years, and members of the Moonwalkers RV Club and the Good Sam Club.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 10, 2025, at the First Church of Christ in New Knoxville, the Reverend Joel Bucklin, officiant. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Friday in the Prayer Room of the Church, where memorial gifts may be given to the First Church of New Knoxville.
