* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Heather Lifland
Heather Lynn Lifland, age 42, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on September 13, 2025.
Heather was born on June 9, 1983, in Fremont, Ohio, to Ken and Christine Obringer. From an early age, her kind heart and joyful spirit touched everyone around her. She grew into a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a caring sister and daughter.
Heather's greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind her husband, Andrew Lifland, and their two beloved sons, Alex Scott and Ethan Christopher, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her father, Ken Obringer; her sister, Brooke (Spencer) Jordan; her nephew, Javin Obringer; and her niece, Gwen Jordan. She will be deeply missed as well by her mother-in-law, Brenda Buckwell; father-in-law, Robert Lifland; sister-in-law, Sarah (Chris) Mills; and niece and nephew, Hannah and Jacob Mills
She was welcomed into Heaven by her mother, Christine Obringer of Coldwater, Ohio.
Heather's life was filled with love, laughter, and dedication to those around her. She worked at Conneaut Elementary School in the Bowling Green City School District as a paraprofessional, where her patience and compassion touched many children's lives. Outside of work, she poured her heart into her boys, proudly supporting them in Cub Scouts and school activities.
Heather will always be remembered for her warm smile, her caring nature, and the way she made every moment with family special.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be gifted to the family to set up a scholarship fund for the boys.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
Friends and family are welcome to gather on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at First United Methodist Church from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 3:30 p.m.
