NEW BREMEN - Councilors on Monday during a special meeting approved purchasing more than 90 acres of land for $2.8 million.
Councilors passed an emergency ordinance to enter into a real estate purchase contract for 90.1 acres from the Greg and Yolanda Schmiesing estate. The land is currently used for agriculture and is located 1 mile west of New Bremen. [More]

COLDWATER - Facing a defiant Defiance team, Coldwater swept aside the Bulldogs at the Palace Monday night, 25-18, 25-23, 25-11.
