ROSSBURG - There is little doubt that Ricky Thornton Jr. is one of the biggest stars in Dirt Late Model racing. He has won a Lucas Oil Late Model Series championship and has wins at track all over the country.
However, one track he has struggled at throughout his career is Eldora Speedway and the World 100. Thornton had just one top five finish in six career starts in the World 100. [More]

An expert on slithering reptiles says the Grand Lake varieties are really kind of nice
CELINA - Folks out and about enjoying Grand Lake and its environs may encounter six species of snakes which have been documented in Mercer and Auglaize counties, according to Doug Wynn, a retired high school ecology teacher and award-winning herpetologist.
MINSTER - The morning start time did not hamper the Minster volleyball team.
The Wildcats snapped a two-match losing streak in defeating Celina 25-14, 25-20, 25-15 in a Grand Lake-area contest at Wildcat Gymnasium. Both teams enter the week with matching 4-6 records.
