Martha Kemper
Martha "Jeanne" Kemper, age 91, of Minster, Ohio, died on Monday, August 25, 2025 at St. Rita Hospital, Lima, Ohio. She was born on April 14, 1934 in Minster, Ohio to the late Frank & Mary (Schmitmeyer) Meyer. She married Lawrence E. Kemper on November 23, 1954 and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2002.
She is survived by children: Diane & Dave Stricker, Minster, Debra & Frank Ganley, Tampa FL, Jack Kemper, Columbus, Nancy & Bruce Adams, LaMesa, CA, Susan Kemper, Celina, 8 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren, sister Rita Wuebker, Minster and sister-in-law Flo Meyer, Botkins, brother-in-law James & Carol Kemper, Fort Loramie.
She was preceded in death by son Michael, 1 great grandchild, siblings: Vera & Lawrence Schmitmeyer, Roman & Mary Meyer, Marie & Raph Huelsman, Esther & Ralph Frey, Urban & Eileen Meyer, Dolores & Bob Meyer-Vollmer, in-law Stanly Wuebker, Donald Kemper. Jeanne was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with family & friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Monday, September 1, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio with burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Sunday August 31, 2025 from 1 to 4 PM and on Monday, September 1 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
