Locally grown: Farmers Market marks 20 years

CELINA - Perfect weather and a slew of high-quality vendors brought out more than 1,200 local shoppers to the Mercer County Fairgrounds on Saturday morning to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Celina Farmers Market.
Vendors on Saturday sold items like local honey, roasted almonds, produce, sourdough bread, baked goods, cut flowers and more, with some offering special anniversary discounts. [More]

Several hurt in twin motorcycle accidents
Several people were airlifted with serious injuries over the weekend in two separate motorcycle accidents in Mercer County, according to sheriff Doug Timmerman.
Fatal fire under investigation in Darke County
A New Madison man died as the result of a house fire Saturday. Responding fire personnel were able to quickly extinguish the fire and remove the only occupant from the structure, but he died at the scene.
Traffic stop results in drug arrests
Two Indiana men were arrested in Darke County Saturday for carrying bulk amounts of fentanyl, heroin and methamphetamine, according to a report from the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
