* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Mabel Amstutz
Mabel L. (Smith) Amstutz, age 100 of Celina, Ohio, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.   
She was born the daughter of the late Earl & Imo (Ridge) Smith on March 28, 1925 in Rimer, Ohio. On May 4, 1947, she married the love of her life Olen L. Amstutz, who died on November 26, 2020.
Mabel is survived by her children; Jane (David) Chicoine of Boulder, CO., Susan (Rodney) Myers of Ft. Wayne, IN., Linda (John) Younglove of Battle Creek, MI., and Patty (Jeff) Hazel of Celina. She leaves behind twelve beloved grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law Bonnie Smith of Perrysburg and Nancy Smith of Colorado.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mabel is preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Amstutz who passed away from a car accident in 1970. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Amstutz and brothers Richard Smith, Bill Smith, and sister Betty (Ralph) Weiman.
Mabel graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1943. She was a lifelong member of the Grace Missionary Church in Celina. She loved playing scrabble, doing crosswords and puzzles, knitting and was an avid reader. She lived a very good life and had a great sense of humor. She loved wholeheartedly, something her family will never forget.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Grace Missionary Church in Celina, with Rev. Steve Howell officiating. Burial will follow services in the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery in Celina.
Family and friends may call at the Grace Missionary Church from 10:00 A.M - 11:00 A.M. before Mabel's funeral service.
