CELINA - Ed Jeffries, a former Celina city councilman, fierce advocate for Grand Lake and respected volunteer, died earlier this week at 93.
Jeffries served as the Ward 3 council representative for 12 years and was an all-around community stalwart. His last year in office was 2013.
