* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Renee Bergman
Renee L. (Buschur) Bergman, age 40, of North Star, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, June 17, 2025, at EverHeart Hospice in Greenville.
She was born July 14, 1984, in Coldwater, Ohio, to her parents Jacob & Linda (Homan) Buschur. Jacob and Linda reside in North Star.
Renee is survived by her five children, Allie, Dominic, Charlie, Oliver, and Hank, all at home in North Star. Also surviving Renee are her siblings and their spouses, Jana & Adam Dirksen of Versailles, Rebecca & Eric Kunkler of St. Henry, Jennifer & Austin Luthman of Osgood, Isaac & Hannah (Kuether) Buschur of Osgood, and Aaron Buschur of North Star. Renee is also survived by the kids' father, Lester Bergman, and in-laws, Judi York, and Carrie and Skip Murray, and large extended family including grandparents, Elmer and Elsie (Poeppelman) Homan of Chickasaw, many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Renee is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert & Rita Buschur, and family members, Carmen Kollars, Bonnie Buschur, and Rachel Buschur.
Renee grew up in North Star and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and was a graduate of Versailles High School. After high school she went on to Bowling Green University to earn her bachelor's degree in education. Renee was a beloved teacher at Mississinawa Valley Schools. Her two biggest passions in life were being a teacher and being a loving and devoted mother to her five children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading in her beloved rocking chair, and watching musicals.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, at St. Louis Catholic Church, in North Star. Following the funeral mass, burial will take place in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.
Friends and family may call from 2:00pm - 8:00pm on Friday, June 20, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry, and from 8:30am - 9:30am on Saturday, June 21, at the St. Louis Church in North Star.
Those who wish to honor Renee's memory may consider making a charitable contribution to the Bergman Kids Education fund set up for her children through The St. Henry Bank.
