CELINA - A 28-year-old Mendon woman was sentenced to just under six months in jail on Wednesday for her part in a 2022 traffic accident that killed a 43-year-old Celina woman.
Serina M.L. Siano was sentenced to 180 days in jail and a lifetime driver's license suspension on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, a third-degree felony. [More]

CELINA - Under an overcast sky, a massive truckload of 217,000 saugeye fingerlings on Wednesday morning were released into the Little Chickasaw Creek, embarking on an arduous journey toward maturation and establishing a new state fishery at Grand Lake.

The opening day of the Division III district track and field meet proved to be a bit rainy, but it didn't bother the area teams as several athletes earned regional berths at Charles D. Moeller Track at Memorial Field in Spencerville.
