Janelle Duffy
Janelle E. Duffy, age 54, of Appleton, Wisconsin, and formerly of Celina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
She was born on October 26, 1970, in Celina to Roger and Shirley (Beemer) Swartz.
Janelle was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and caring daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Alexis (Matthew) Watkins of Lima; her mother, Shirley Swartz of Celina; her brothers, Bob Swartz of Celina and Bill (Dawn) Swartz of Celina; and her cherished grandchildren, Lincoln and Rory.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Swartz.
A proud homemaker, Janelle dedicated her life to caring for her family. She had a strong faith and a deep love for Jesus. She also loved animals and country music, and had a creative spirit that shone through in her many hobbies-crafting, crocheting, diamond dotting, and shopping. Janelle had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and found her greatest joy in the time she spent with her family.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
A funeral service celebrating Janelle's life will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, also at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Jason King officiating. Friends and family may gather prior to the service on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Janelle will be laid to rest at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, 218 S. Main St., Celina, Ohio 45822.
