* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 630 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 247 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Carthagena, Neptune, Chattanooga and Maria Stein.

Marjorie Pierstorff
Marjorie Lou Pierstorff, age 96 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater. She was born the daughter of the late Rhueben and Myrtle (Krogman) Buck on September 14, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. On February 18, 1949 she married Edson Pierstorff, who died March 21, 2011.
Survivors include her son Niles (Carolyn) Pierstorff of Celina, two grandchildren Erin (John) Rodgers of Leesburg, VA and Daniel (Judy) Pierstorff of Clayton. She is also survived by four great grandchildren Evan Rodgers, Caleb Rodgers, Hannah Pierstorff and Joseph Pierstorff.
Marjorie graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1947. She was very active in the church community through the years. She had been a member of Landfair United Methodist Church, Only Believe Ministries Church in Botkins and Abounding Grace. She deeply enjoyed spending time with her family and also loved playing the piano. She also volunteered her time and artistic talents to the Mercer County Historical Society where she participated in creating displays and lending her help for special events.
Marjorie was well known for her unwavering faith and commitment to praying for others. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched with encouraging words and testimonies of faith.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Erin Rodgers officiating. Private family burial will follow funeral services in the Buck Cemetery in Celina. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025 and an hour before services on Tuesday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
