Auglaize County played a big part in the Lima oil fields in the late 1800s. There were many jobs on the pipeline, which were worked by crews like the one above, titled "The First Pipe Line Gang in St. Marys Ohio, 1887. Numbered individuals are: 1 John Boysell, 2 J.
