* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ruth Weidman
Ruth Elane Weidman, age 93 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, Ohio. She was born the daughter of the late Frank and Mabel (Lang) Hainline on March 13, 1932, in Mercer County Ohio. On June 21, 1953, she married George Oliver Weidman Jr., who died February 6, 1980.
She is survived by her son Howard Kent Weidman of Celina, daughter Kathy (Norbert) Theisen of Sunset, S.C., two grandsons Benjamin (Haley) Theisen of Roswell, GA, and Adam (Erin) Theisen of Austin, TX, two great grandchildren Walker Theisen, Harper Theisen, her brother Robert (Marcia) Hainline of Celina, and nieces Toma Hainline of Celina, Karen (Jerry) Homan of St. Henry, Natalie Sue (Steve) Huelsman of Leesburg, VA, and nephew George (Kathy) Sheets of Sulfur Springs, OH.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by a son Kirk Allen Weidman.
Ruth graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1950. Then she received her Associate Degree in Education from Ohio Northern University and in 1975 Ruth received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wright State University.
She taught first grade for over 20 years, teaching many children the love of reading and retired from Celina East Elementary in 1995.
She was a member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina. She was a fifty-year member of the Celina Chapter #91 Order of Eastern Star and the Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Delta Omega Sorority. Ruth also held membership with the Mercer County Retired Teachers and the Ohio Retired Teachers. She was a former member of the University Women's Club in Celina.
Ruth's wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial service will be held on May 2, 2025. Her arrangements are pending at this time with the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
