Kaye Anderson
Kaye (Kaci) Anderson, age 75, of Celina Ohio, passed away Sunday March 16, 2025, in her home with her husband by her side.
She was born April 2, 1949, in Lima Ohio. She married Robin C. Anderson on Aug 21, 1982. They were together for 42 years. In her youth she grew up in New Bremen, OH, singing in the school choir and performing in the band. She attended St. Paul United Church of Christ. As a couple, Robin and Kaci attended the Erastus Church near Coldwater. Kaci worked most of her life as a waitress and factory worker. She loved music and was a gifted vocalist singing with various bands and talented musicians which became lifelong friends.
Kaci will be missed by her husband Robin C. Anderson, Celina, Ohio, son Kenneth Eugene Rempe, St. Henry, Ohio, daughter Jayne Marie Ruwoldt, Lima, Ohio, sister Kendra Sue Bonifas, St. Marys, Ohio, stepsister Julie Garman, GA, step brother Ralph Pickering, St. Marys, Ohio, stepsister Shelby Weichart, St. Marys, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Eugene Topp, mother, Emily Jane (Lininger) Pickering and daughter Rene Annette Hammond.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember Kaci at the Erastus Church 5537 Erastus Durbin Rd. Celina, OH, on Friday March 28, from 3:00PM to 8:00PM and again on Saturday March 29, 1 hour prior to the funeral service. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the church, on Saturday March 29 beginning at 11:00AM.
There will be food in the hall both days so please share a meal with us. In keeping with Kaci's love of island life, please feel free to wear your favorite tropical attire.
A small service of inurnment will be held in the German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen on Kaci's birthday, April 2.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erastus Church 5537 Erastus Durbin Rd. Celina, OH 45822.
