Dennis J. Brunswick, age 91, of Coldwater went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born July 1, 1933 in St. Henry to the late Frank & Iola (Zahn) Brunswick. On November 25, 1954, he married Lois (Gels) Brunswick and she preceded him in 2019.

He is survived by his children and in-laws, Dennis G. & Charleen Brunswick, Dianne Brunswick & Glenn Beachy, Donald & Jackie Brunswick, Dorothy & Darrell Courtney, Lori & Ron Woeste, Daniel & Pepper Brunswick, Darlene & David Schmitz, David & Angi Brunswick, and Douglas & Nancy Brunswick; 34 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren; siblings and in-laws, Betty Singer, Lou Ann Kremer, Janice & Donald Gagel, Frank & Larae Gels, Robert Gels, Janet Gels, and Joyce Gels.

He is preceded in death by a son Duane & Lori Brunswick; a grandson, Brian Brunswick, a son-in-law, Tim Stanley, siblings and in-laws, Paul & Wilma Walsch, Jerry Brunswick, Orville Jutte, Kenneth Gels, Eileen & Eugene Bruns, Mary Lou & Rolly Weis, Ralph Gels, Janice & Joseph Hart, Bob Singer, Ken Kremer, and Norma Gels.

Dennis was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Coldwater American Legion and the Holy Name Society. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors with his family and cat, Lucy. Dennis loved to cook and was very good at it. He also enjoyed watching sports.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 PM on Sunday and 9-10 AM on Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
